Job Summary

The Territory Sales Manager II is responsible for identifying and building new customer relationships to drive year-over-year revenue and pipeline growth. This role will focus on the East Coast and Northeast regions, promoting our service offerings and developing strategies to increase market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business from new customers through high-level customer contact, including frequent visits and extensive networking activities.
  • Effectively promote current technical capabilities and emerging technologies to facilitate the generation and closing of new business opportunities.
  • Build trust-based relationships with technical personnel and executive-level decision-makers at target accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing, account managers, and product development teams to develop strategies that ensure MyoSite's position as a leading solutions provider.
  • Negotiate contracts with increasing autonomy.
  • Identify market trends, assess market potential, and develop strategies to grow market share using data from customer bases and markets.
  • Provide timely, industry-leading customer support and define interfaces with internal resources when necessary.
  • Understand the process from pre-clinical to clinical development.
  • Influence without authority and collaborate across all levels of an organization (internal and external).
  • Achieve business objectives for assigned territories, including penetration of accounts with product/solution/service offerings.
  • Develop, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with key management at customer organizations.
  • Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies, developing forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for product sales channels.
Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Life Science discipline or equivalent relevant work experience in Chemical synthesis, Chemistry, or Biochemistry.

3-5 years' experience in sales/business development, product development roles such as program management, CMC lead, lead technologist for drug development candidates.

Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position with 50-75% travel required, primarily within the domestic market.
