The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial and clinical management of our Child Life Services, Therapy Dog Program, Child Life Zone, Music Therapy, the Hospital School Program, Child Life volunteers, Child Life students, and the Family Advisory Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote patient- and family-centered care principles throughout the hospital.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of Child Life Services into patient care.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective delivery of Child Life Services.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise Child Life staff to ensure high-quality services.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations to promote Child Life Services.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in Child Life and pediatric care to ensure evidence-based services.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Child Life or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years paid experience as a Certified Child Life Specialist.
  • 2 years of experience in a Children's Hospital.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience.
  • CPR certification.
