Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at Beauty & Essex in New York. As a Busser, you will play a critical role in ensuring the exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and banquettes.
  • Anticipate and accommodate the needs of our guests, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort.
  • Communicate effectively with the Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, servers, managers, and chefs to ensure seamless service.
  • Deliver, fill, and refill water as requested by guests and/or directed by servers.
  • Clear and reset tables, clean table areas, and maintain general cleanliness of stations and the entire venue.
  • Participate in daily pre-service meetings and attend training sessions or departmental meetings as required.
  • Learn by listening, observing, and sharing knowledge while leading by example.
  • Portray a positive and professional attitude, demonstrating knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and its partners.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, providing help and support to all fellow team members.
Requirements
  • Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or nightclub.
  • Previous busser experience, with a strong understanding of table settings and service standards.
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods, with a maximum weight lift of 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
