Job Description

The Culinary Administrative Assistant will be an integral part of our operations team at the Indiana Convention Center. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with scheduling, tracking attendance, managing monthly inventory, and maintaining the BEO board.

In addition to your administrative duties, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with our Culinary, Stewarding, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations. Your excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with some college education preferred
  • Previous administrative experience, including office management principles and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • Self-starter who can work independently and on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
