Join Our Team as an Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer

Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG is seeking a skilled Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer to enhance our engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and execution of project initiatives related to aircraft systems engineering and integration.

Your Responsibilities:
As an Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer, you will:
1. Design and manage modifications for PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft, overseeing the entire process from initial concept to the completion of the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) process.
2. Create detailed electrical wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and comprehensive instructions.
3. Develop test plans and reports that adhere to FAA regulations.
4. Compile essential certification, engineering, and compliance documentation.
5. Coordinate with various departments to facilitate certification activities necessary for achieving FAA STC approvals and other validations.
6. Act as the project coordinator, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders for assigned projects.
7. Prepare inspection reports and test/acceptance procedures.
8. Identify and manage external engineering product and service suppliers, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Additional Responsibilities:
Support technical meetings, design reviews, and product acceptance processes with customers and regulatory authorities. Provide expert guidance in avionics, electrical, and aircraft systems integration. Collaborate with our completions team to offer technical assistance and ensure compliance with established engineering standards.

Your Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in the aviation sector.
- Familiarity with complex aircraft design, modification, and certification projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of 14 CFR Part 23 compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in CAD applications, particularly ECAD, with experience in PDM/PLM systems being advantageous.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
