Position Overview

The Pallet Sorter role is essential to our operations, serving as a key player in the heart of our supply chain. This position involves working within a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for the meticulous sorting of pallets to ensure they meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort pallets by hand as they arrive from various sources, including loading docks and production lines.
  • Remove any debris or contaminants from pallets to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Identify pallets that require repairs and segregate them accordingly.

Safety and Compliance

  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently.
  • Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Report any safety concerns or hazards to supervisors without delay.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced industrial environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills are essential for teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.

Skills Required

  • Proficient in tool handling and basic maintenance.
  • Strong observational skills to ensure quality control.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to push and pull items with a force of up to 31 lbs.

Working Environment

  • This role is situated in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
  • Expect to stand for extended periods and be exposed to varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Personal protective equipment is mandatory for this position.
