Job Overview

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Exemplifies QNB's Service and Sales initiatives with enthusiasm and creativity, ensuring that objectives are met and quality benchmarks are surpassed. Takes initiative and serves as a role model for peers.
  2. Establishes strong customer connections by ensuring QNB is represented with courtesy, confidentiality, and professionalism, while delivering prompt, efficient, and precise service through consultative selling and effective cross-selling techniques.
  3. Promotes deposit and loan offerings and directs customers to the relevant departments or personnel.
  4. Accurately performs the functions of a Financial Services Representative, including balancing cash drawers and/or Teller Cash Recyclers (TCR) at the close of business.
  5. Demonstrates proficiency in all facets of the Financial Services Representative role.
  6. Possesses the ability to engage with others beyond mere instruction.
  7. Holds extensive knowledge of QNB products and actively supports QNB's Service and Sales initiatives, as well as referral and product campaigns.
  8. Completes required compliance training promptly and shows capability in applying this training to daily responsibilities.
  9. Engages with the community through active participation in local volunteer and charitable endeavors.
  10. Must be available during all branch operating hours, including weekends and holidays.
  11. May be assigned additional job-related tasks as needed, including the flexibility to work at any branch location.

ESSENTIAL TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION:

  1. Regularly required to stand for extended periods, potentially all day.
  2. Exhibits interpersonal skills that positively represent the Bank when interacting with both internal and external clients.
  3. Must complete necessary training and product knowledge within the first six months of employment.
  4. Ability to lift and manage coin bags weighing between 25-50 pounds.
  5. Communication skills that reflect QNB's sales strategies, including the capacity to identify and meet customers' current and future needs.
  6. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required, with a minimum of high school education or equivalent vocational training.
  7. Ensures compliance with QNB's operational and security standards by adhering to government regulations, QNB policies, and established procedures.
  8. Must successfully complete Banking Fundamentals courses within the first 18 months of employment, achieving a grade of C or higher.
  9. Annual re-certification requirements for Financial Services Representatives must be fulfilled.
  10. This position may require compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Continued employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including satisfactory background investigation results.
