KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exemplifies QNB's Service and Sales initiatives with enthusiasm and creativity, ensuring that targets are met and quality benchmarks are surpassed. Takes proactive steps and serves as a role model for peers.
- Fosters customer connections by ensuring QNB is represented with courtesy, confidentiality, and professionalism, while delivering prompt, efficient, and precise service through consultative selling and cross-selling techniques.
- Promotes deposit and loan offerings and directs clients to the relevant personnel or departments.
- Accurately executes financial transactions as a Financial Services Representative, ensuring the cash drawer and/or Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) is balanced at the close of business.
- Demonstrates proficiency in all facets of the Financial Services Representative role.
- Possesses the ability to engage with others beyond mere instruction exchange.
- Holds extensive knowledge of QNB products and actively supports QNB's Service and Sales, referral, and product initiatives.
- Completes required compliance training promptly and shows capability in applying this training to job responsibilities.
- Engages with the community through participation in local volunteer and charitable activities.
- Availability during all branch operating hours, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
- Willingness to undertake additional job-related responsibilities as needed, including the flexibility to work at any branch location.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, potentially throughout the entire workday.
- Possesses interpersonal skills that reflect positively on the Bank when interacting with both internal and external clients.
- Completion of required training and product knowledge within the initial six months of employment is mandatory.
- Ability to lift and manage coin bags weighing between 25-50 pounds.
- Communication skills that align with QNB's sales objectives, including the ability to recognize and meet clients' current and future needs.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required; completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent is necessary.
- Adheres to QNB's operational and security compliance by following government regulations, QNB policies, and established procedures.
- Must successfully complete Banking Fundamentals courses within the first 18 months of employment, achieving a grade of C or higher.
- Annual re-certification requirements for Financial Services Representatives must be fulfilled.
- This role may necessitate compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations. Continued employment is contingent upon meeting all such criteria, including satisfactory background investigation results.
