Job Description

Overview

Allied Universal Technology Services is a leading provider of security technology solutions, transforming the security industry through the integration of state-of-the-art technology and physical security. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations on our construction sites, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and Coordinate: Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Communication and Reporting: Communicate daily site activities and report project status to the project manager.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  • Subcontractor Management: Ensure subcontractors are executing their contracted scope of work and comply with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
  • Inspections and Compliance: Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and identify conflicts in construction progress.
  • Safety and Security: Identify and report potential safety hazards and ensure the job site is kept clean and organized.
  • Project Progress and Completion: Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
  • Budgeting and Bidding: Assist in budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts.
  • Permits and Approvals: Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of progressive construction experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, organized and analytical decision-making capabilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to physically lift up to 100 lbs and establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
