About this Position:

The Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) Investment Banking division is in search of an Investment Banking Program Associate to contribute to our San Francisco office. The focus of the Semiconductor team is on engaging with key decision-makers and fostering enduring client partnerships, enhancing these connections through strategic insights, comprehensive product expertise, and impeccable deal execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the analysis of corporations and client investments
  • Provide investment recommendations to clients
  • Identify potential enhancements for the Investment Banking Program
  • Examine and interpret market data, valuation assessments, models, and presentations that necessitate research, evaluation, selection of alternatives, and independent judgment to guide medium-risk deliverables
  • Present solutions for business challenges while exercising independent judgment and developing expertise in relevant functions, policies, procedures, and compliance standards
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues and management to address issues and achieve objectives
  • Interact with both internal and external stakeholders

Compensation:
Base Salary - $200,000, with eligibility for a bonus.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Investment Banking Program or equivalent, demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Semiconductor sector within TMT
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A Master's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
  • Investment banking experience, preferably in the Technology sector
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Understanding of business development: vision, strategies, and objectives
  • Knowledge of capital markets: deal execution processes and standards
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:
  • Completion of registration for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam within 90 days of hire if not transferable upon hire
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire if not transferable upon hire
  • Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire if not transferable upon hire
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
