Investment Banking Associate

Piper Sandler Companies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our Healthcare Biotechnology team in San Francisco. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, conducting financial analysis, and developing strategic recommendations to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, and other investment banking transactions
- Conduct financial modeling, data analysis, and market research to support client presentations and pitches
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and financial sponsors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, trading, and research, to identify business opportunities and drive revenue growth
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration
- 2+ years of investment banking experience, with a focus on healthcare biotechnology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and senior management
- Highly motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
