The Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) Investment Banking division is looking for an Investment Banking Program Associate to contribute to our San Francisco office. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the analysis of firms and client investments
- Provide investment recommendations to clients
- Spot opportunities for enhancing processes within the Investment Banking Program
- Examine and interpret market data, valuation assessments, models, and presentations that necessitate research, evaluation, selection of alternatives, and independent judgment to guide medium-risk deliverables
- Deliver recommendations for addressing business challenges while developing expertise in functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and management to resolve issues and achieve objectives
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders
Compensation:
Base Salary - $200,000 - This position is eligible for a bonus.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Investment Banking Programs or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Experience in the Semiconductor sector within TMT
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
- A Master's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
- Investment banking experience, preferably in the Technology sector
- Capacity to make timely and independent judgment decisions in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Understanding of business development: vision, strategies, and objectives
- Knowledge of capital markets: deal execution processes and standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Completion of registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam within 90 days of hire if not transferable upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
- Completion of registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) within 90 days of hire if not transferable upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
- Completion of registration for FINRA Series 79 within 90 days of hire if not transferable upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
