Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team at Equus Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our financial staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including accounts receivable and payable, and reconcile P-card reports.
  • Organize and maintain files in an auditable state, implementing methods for tracking and safekeeping.
  • Assist in the generation of reports, including data gathering, printed reports, or other available information.
  • Help prepare billings and invoices, and assist with budget preparation.
  • Process documents for the purchase of Metrocards for participant transportation, and develop and maintain inventory controls for Metrocards.
  • Coordinate with program staff to ensure a sufficient supply of Metrocards is available at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two to three years of related clerical experience.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and working knowledge of office machinery and automation, including software packages.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and the public.
