About the Role

Aon is seeking an experienced Account Executive/Broker - Property & Casualty to join our team in Chicago, IL. As a key member of our industry-leading team, you will empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions for commercial risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as senior client contact and account manager for a book of new and recurring property and casualty business focused on major law firms, accounting firms, and consulting firms.
  • Support continued growth by providing exceptional client service, leading the account renewal process and strategy, identifying and recommending coverage and markets, and preparing and presenting renewal strategies and proposals to clients.
  • Lead negotiation of insurance placements, possess a high attention to detail, and strong technical property and casualty insurance knowledge base needed to meet the growing needs of highly sophisticated clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • CPCU designation and/or MBA preferred, but not essential
  • At least ten years of relevant Property/Casualty experience
  • Illinois P&C Brokers License, or secure immediately on acceptance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • International/Global program experience a plus
  • Strong technical property and casualty knowledge
  • Ability to present and clearly explain the details of property and casualty programs to clients
  • Strong background in account management, servicing, placement, and negotiation of property and casualty coverages
  • Ability to solve problems and think independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, monitor, and control work flow deadlines
  • Positive and flexible attitude
