Key Responsibilities:
  1. Engage primarily in loss reserving projects, with opportunities to participate in pricing/ratemaking, predictive analytics, economic capital modeling, and customer loyalty initiatives.
  2. Exhibit the capability to integrate into ongoing projects, taking charge of specific tasks and ensuring effective communication with clients.
  3. Evaluate and confirm the work produced by analysts, maintaining high standards of technical accuracy and integrity across various analyses, templates, and reports.
  4. Gather, verify, and assess client data for reasonableness.
  5. Utilize advanced actuarial theories and methodologies to develop statistical models.
  6. Prepare and supervise the creation of production exhibits and comprehensive reports to convey findings.
  7. Support or lead the drafting of proposals and presentations for potential clients.
  8. Participate in client meetings and marketing presentations as necessary.
Qualifications:
  1. A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related discipline.
  2. A minimum of two actuarial examinations completed; progress towards ACAS/FCAS is advantageous.
  3. At least 4 years of actuarial experience within the property and casualty sector, particularly with large self-insured organizations, captives, (re)insurers, and state regulators. Previous consulting experience is beneficial.
  4. Outstanding organizational abilities, with a knack for prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  5. Willingness to travel as required to support client engagements and business development efforts.
  6. Familiarity with R, SAS, SQL, or VBA is a plus.
