Market Strategy & Insights Intern

As a Market Strategy & Insights Intern at Harvest Group, you will gain hands-on experience in market strategy development, retail data analysis, and syndicated reporting. You will contribute to key projects that support our retailer teams and clients with actionable insights.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our MSI Project Managers to develop market strategies that drive business growth.
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Work with large datasets to identify key insights and trends that impact retailer performance.
  • Utilize various analytical tools and techniques to process and interpret retail data, ensuring accuracy and relevance in reporting.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating regular reports, providing actionable insights for internal teams and external partners.
  • Contribute to various MSI projects that directly support retailer teams and clients, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with other teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a relevant field - data analysis, market research, business strategy, marketing (preferred but not required).
  • A genuine interest in market strategy, retail analytics, and the consumer goods industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret and synthesize large datasets.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or other data analysis software.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to identify patterns and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment and engaging with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
