Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Integration/Test Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our GPS integration and test team, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of electrical floor operations and the development of automated test scripts, procedures, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to conduct spacecraft testing at both the factory and launch site.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of electrical floor operations.
  • Collaborate with external teams to solve spacecraft and/or EGSE performance issues.
  • Support Systems Engineering and Certified Principle Engineers (CPEs) in the verification of test requirements.
  • Plan and execute specific Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) verification procedures, including RF test systems, and nominal electrical procedures/scripts from ground test stations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and specs.
  • Microsoft Office suite experience with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime supporting off-shifts and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with scripting in Python.
  • Programming experience.
  • Experience generating detailed test procedures and work instructions.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and teamwork with internal customers.
