Branch Operations Supervisor

Position Overview:
Oversees and coordinates the daily functions of branch operations while supporting the General or Regional Manager in various responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Propose enhancements to boost productivity, quality, and the efficient delivery of services and products while ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Lead and manage team workflows and schedules, proactively addressing challenges for both customers and staff.
- Ensure professional and prompt assistance to all customers, effectively resolving their needs and concerns.
Operational Management:
- Assist the General or Regional Manager in achieving annual revenue, profit, and staffing objectives.
- Plan, control, and manage the delivery of products and services to meet customer expectations.
- Recruit and maintain a skilled workforce, ensuring employees receive proper training and opportunities for career advancement.
Organizational Excellence:
- Maintain a high level of organization by tracking unresolved issues, including customer complaints, and facilitating their resolution.
- Manage daily operational aspects in line with company policies, including reviewing financial performance with management and finance teams.
Production Leadership:
- Develop and prioritize production schedules.
- Oversee modern warehousing operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Advocate for compliance with ISO Quality and Environmental Management standards and recommend system improvements.
Process Improvement:
- Implement lean methodologies throughout the organization.
- Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities through value stream mapping.
- Enhance the flow of products and information using lean tools to achieve optimal performance.
Analytical Skills:
- Conduct analytical assessments to quickly identify beneficial resolutions to opportunities while maintaining focus on delivering results within set timeframes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in managing and supervising light manufacturing and distribution operations.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, strong integrity, and effective communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of fluid power products, particularly Parker products, is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Willingness to travel by car and occasionally by air.
