Administrative and Professional Staff Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Administrative and Professional Staff. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support services to our law enforcement and corrections staff, as well as the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to law enforcement and corrections staff, including records management, fiscal management, and evidence control.
- Assist with the processing of permits, licenses, and other documents.
- Enter, maintain, and retrieve data in various computer systems, including criminal history searches.
- Prepare reports from database information and draft, type, and edit documents such as reports, search warrants, and memoranda.
- Support the accounting, cashiering, fiscal, and budget functions of the Sheriff's Office.
- Cover the technical handling, control, and proper storage of evidence and property.
- Monitor and control the movement of jail personnel, inmates, and visitors, as well as security systems.
- Order, receive, store, and issue office supplies, maintenance supplies, and equipment.
- Review paperwork from law enforcement agencies and the courts for authority to book, release, or transport inmates.
- Be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a Washington State driver's license prior to appointment.
