Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Everett, Washington. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing clinical practice and patient outcomes within the acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing, diagnosing, and managing complex healthcare problems of patients within the acute care setting.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans.
  • Providing expert consultation to nursing staff and other healthcare providers regarding patient care.
  • Designing and conducting educational programs and in-services to enhance nursing knowledge and practice.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety and quality of care.
  • Serving as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, facilitating professional development and competency.
  • Conducting research and participating in scholarly activities to advance nursing practice and patient care outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies related to acute care practices.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in Washington.
  • Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care settings.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and commitment to professional development.
