Clinical Nurse Specialist- Acute Care
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Everett, Washington. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing clinical practice and patient outcomes within the acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessing, diagnosing, and managing complex healthcare problems of patients within the acute care setting.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans.
- Providing expert consultation to nursing staff and other healthcare providers regarding patient care.
- Designing and conducting educational programs and in-services to enhance nursing knowledge and practice.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety and quality of care.
- Serving as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, facilitating professional development and competency.
- Conducting research and participating in scholarly activities to advance nursing practice and patient care outcomes.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies related to acute care practices.
- Current RN license in Washington.
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care settings.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and commitment to professional development.
