Job Summary

Oiles America Corporation, a leading manufacturer of self-lubricating bearing technologies, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will focus on revenue accounting and accounts receivable (AR) collections, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, timely collections, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Analyze revenue trends and variances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Accounts Receivable Collections
  • Manage the AR aging report and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve billing issues and facilitate timely payments.
  • Implement and maintain effective collection strategies to minimize bad debt.
  • Prepare and distribute AR reports to management.
General Accounting
  • Prepare and file sales tax returns.
  • Gather and file supporting evidence for internal controls.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
