Position Overview:

As an Assistant Manager at GCI Residential LLC, you will play a vital role in overseeing the operations of our residential community, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for all residents. We pride ourselves on providing competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance requests and resolving resident concerns related to rental processes, renewals, and community policies.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between the Property Manager and staff, supervising leasing and maintenance teams in the absence of the Property Manager.
  • Assist in the management of overdue accounts and facilitate the eviction process with the necessary approvals.
  • Develop and distribute resident communications while supporting retention initiatives.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance.
  • Oversee office supply management and coordinate purchases within budgetary guidelines.
  • Authorize routine purchases and process invoices under the Property Manager's supervision.
  • Represent GCI Residential in a professional manner, maintaining a courteous demeanor with residents, colleagues, and the public.

Qualifications:

What We Are Looking For:

  • Three to five years of experience in property management or a related field, with a preference for industry experience.
Education and Certifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, or Liberal Arts, or equivalent experience in real estate or sales management.
Essential Skills:
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed performance goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Self-driven with a comprehensive understanding of Landlord/Tenant and Fair Housing Laws.
  • Familiarity with MRI software is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Commitment to a minimum of forty hours per week, with regular attendance mandatory.
