About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team at Phinia, Inc. as a Global Sustainability Lead. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in advancing our company's sustainability vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of our company's sustainability strategies and priorities, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Manage Sustainability Reporting: Oversee the development and publication of our annual Sustainability Report, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with various departments, including Marketing, Communications, and Operations, to ensure effective communication and implementation of sustainability initiatives.
  • Manage Sustainability Data and Metrics: Develop and maintain a robust system for tracking and analyzing sustainability data, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and materiality assessments.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Develop and implement strategies to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, investors, and regulatory bodies, on sustainability-related matters.
  • Provide Thought Leadership: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and provide thought leadership on sustainability-related topics to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business administration.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability strategies.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, practices, and regulations, including ISO 26000 and GRI standards.
