Job Summary

This role provides administrative support to the Young Life field ministry area office, enabling the team to function efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative assistance to area staff, including answering correspondence, filing, and preparing mailings.
  • Manage the area office's communication systems, including phones, voicemail, and email.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of newsletters, postcards, flyers, and other promotional materials.
  • Track and report on donations, expenses, and financial status.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases, including donor and leader information.
  • Coordinate area meetings, including staff meetings, leadership meetings, and committee meetings.
  • Track participation, payments, and health forms for camp and other events.
  • Provide training and support to area staff on various administrative tasks and processes.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in a non-profit or similar environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Basic accounting skills and ability to track finances.
  • Proven relational skills, with the ability to work effectively with kids and adults.
