Substance Abuse Treatment Team Lead

Counselor Supervisor is a vital role within our team, responsible for overseeing the work of Counselors and Counselor Interns. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality treatment services to patients struggling with substance abuse.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise all intake operations to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Review intake assessments for quality and accuracy, providing constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Provide direct supervision to clinicians, facilitating their growth and development through regular meetings, in-service trainings, guest speakers, and literature reviews.
- Manage counseling staff effectively, addressing performance improvement needs and providing support for licensure and certification efforts.
- Deliver clinical supervision to enhance therapeutic skills and outcomes.
- Conduct employment interviews with Clinical Manager and Practice Manager to identify top candidates.
- Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Masters degree (MLADC) or a LADC with an LCS is required.
- Prior supervisory experience, self-motivation, and direction are essential.
- A positive attitude toward chemically dependent patients and experience working with this population are necessary.
- Satisfactory criminal background and drug screen results are mandatory.
