Job Summary

Community Residences is seeking a skilled Lead Investigator to join our team. This role involves conducting thorough investigations into complaints of abuse and neglect, as well as coordinating the submission of reports to relevant state departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations into DDS/AID abuse and neglect complaints, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained.
  • Prepare and submit detailed investigation reports in accordance with Department regulations.
  • Obtain verification that recommendations from investigations have been implemented.
  • Coordinate the submission of investigation reports and related documentation to state departments and CRI administration.
Requirements
  • Must complete all required training within 60 days of hire.
  • Must maintain certifications and adhere to continuing education requirements.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  • Williness to travel for investigations.
Educational Background

A minimum of two years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Certification as a DDS Investigator is also preferred. A degree in Special Education, Human Services, Rehabilitative Counseling, or Psychology is advantageous.

This position requires a strong investigative background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
