Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax returns at the federal, state, or local level for individuals, businesses, or organizations.
- Review accounts and records, calculating taxes owed in accordance with established rates, laws, and regulations.
- Complete documentation for tax refunds.
- Advise management on the implications of business activities on tax obligations and strategies for reducing tax liabilities.
- Ensure compliance with requirements set forth by tax authorities.
- Represent the organization in dealings with tax agencies.
- Organize and maintain tax documentation, conducting tax studies and special projects as needed.
- Provide expert tax advice.

- Prepare financial statements for a variety of clients.
- Investigate discrepancies and identify solutions to problems.
- Process payroll and manage all payroll-related tax documentation.
- Prepare and submit sales tax filings.
- Offer backup support to other accounting personnel as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Preferred 2 years of experience, particularly in payroll and bookkeeping, with experience in a CPA firm being advantageous.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred.
- Experience with sales tax return preparation is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
- High proficiency in MS Excel.
- Able to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus.
Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000 per year
