About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Hard Rock International. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service in our cafes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and Assist in Menu Planning: Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager to design and prepare menus that meet the brand's culinary standards.
  • Maintain High Standards of Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that all food preparation and handling practices meet or exceed local health and safety regulations.
  • Lead by Example: Foster a culture of customer service and excellence within the team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop and Implement Training Programs: Design and deliver training sessions to develop the skills and knowledge of Heart of House employees, driving continuous improvement and employee growth.
  • Assist with Food Preparation and Service: Fill in for the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager as needed, ensuring seamless food preparation and service during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Experience and Education: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including restaurant culinary management, and relevant certifications.
  • Skills and Qualities: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to learn and adapt to new ideas, and a genuine enthusiasm for food and customer service.
