Job Overview

Malasha Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing data reconciliation, providing financial and accounting expertise, and developing automated transformation tools to execute FI Reconciliation across multiple funds, fund centers, and business areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile data with Trial Balances, financial statements, and summary level departmental reporting
  • Validate line items loaded to general ledger accounts and budget line items
  • Generate reconciliation packages required to support yearly financial statements and audit activities
  • Provide financial and accounting expertise to support and document the migration of BSOs from legacy to target General Ledger (GL) system throughout the migration lifecycle
  • Develop automated transformation tools to execute FI Reconciliation across multiple funds, fund centers, and business areas
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Seven (7) years of relevant experience with a minimum of three (3) years of Federal Financial Management or logistics experience, with a minimum of three (3) years DoD ERP experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work individually and collaborate with a team
Work Environment

This position can be remote from Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; Honolulu, HI; Bremerton, WA. The ideal candidate will be local to these locations or willing to relocate.
