Key Responsibilities
  • Community Outreach: Maintain knowledge of local early childhood education options in the region and collaborate with providers, stakeholders, and community members to increase referrals to educational programming.
  • Family Support: Partner with families to identify strengths and connect to community resources and public benefits to reduce barriers to early education enrollment.
  • Systemic Change: Support the identification of systemic barriers that prevent young children from accessing early education, including, but not limited to, racial inequities and families experiencing poverty.
Requirements
  • Cultural Competency: Demonstrate cultural competency and display a commitment to diversity, racial equity, and inclusion.
  • Transportation: Driver's License, personal transportation, and valid vehicle insurance.
  • Travel: Ability to travel throughout the Northern Kentucky region.
  • Experience: One to two years' experience in the human services or Early Childhood Education fields, directly working with families and young children.
  • Skills: Experience assisting individuals with strength-based assessments and person-centered planning.
  • Education: Post-secondary training in Early Childhood Education or Human Services is preferred.

Compensation

This is an exempt position with a range of $38,000 - $40,000.
