Position Overview
The Vendor Stock Support Associate is tasked with overseeing all aspects related to the influx of new merchandise from designated vendors. This role includes executing various vendor-specific operational responsibilities as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction above all else.
  • Execute general shipment processing in line with productivity benchmarks and timelines, ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers.
  • Prepare merchandise by hanging or folding items and placing them on racks for display.
  • Assist the Omni Operations Manager with the relocation of fixtures and merchandise for new product launches, seasonal transitions, and clearance setups.
  • Support the replenishment of stock on the sales floor.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness within the stockroom.
  • Handle damaged items, transfers, and returns to vendors.
  • Uphold high standards of customer readiness by ensuring a clean and organized shopping environment.
  • Follow protocols related to shortage prevention during the receiving process.
  • Adhere to all safety and security guidelines.
  • Implement shortage prevention initiatives effectively.
  • Perform additional vendor-specific tasks as necessary.
  • Complete other assigned duties as required.
  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in merchandising or retail.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, peers, and management.
  • Basic proficiency in math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to operate a calculator.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently and collaboratively, with effective time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Comfortable using RF equipment.
  • Flexible availability to work retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • This role involves significant lifting and continuous movement and standing.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, typically at least two consecutive hours.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • May require bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
  • May involve reaching above eye level.
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
