Customer Service Operations Manager

The Customer Service Manager at Anderson Process is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all day-to-day distribution activities, customer service, and engineering operations. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team of Customer Service Representatives and Application Engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments to ensure the meeting of revenue and profit goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with top customers to create a platform for open communication.
- Assist Customer Service Representatives and Application Engineers in their daily activities to meet customer deadlines.
- Process orders and quotes as necessary to ensure timeliness.
- Work with Sales Manager, Engineering, Project Manager, and Warehouse Manager to determine the best course of action for customer inquiries.
- Oversee and ensure all invoicing is carried out each month at the branch.
- Review ongoing performance results to targets, activity reports to measure productivity, and identify areas needing cost reduction or process improvement.
- Coach and develop staff to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving company goals and objectives.
- Identify and recommend development plans for Customer Service Representatives and Application Engineers.
- Three to five years of previous customer service and engineering management experience.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.
- Experience in customer interactions and relationships.
- Leadership orientation, initiative, adaptability, and excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Industrial distribution experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related management field or equivalent experience.
- Inventory management experience.
- Product knowledge.
- Experience with Epicor Prophet 21.
