M&A Integration Project Specialist

Position Overview:
The M&A Integration Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the execution and integration of mergers and acquisitions. This position involves collaborating with the client's deal execution and integration teams throughout the M&A life cycle, which encompasses target identification, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with corporate development leadership to assess and incorporate the acquired entity into the organization, ensuring successful integration aligned with strategic objectives and value creation.
- Oversee the execution and integration processes, including the management of Microsoft Project Teams sites, onboarding team members, and maintaining a comprehensive project schedule.
- Provide program management and consulting services, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, schedule management, risk assessment, and progress reporting for each integration initiative.
- Contribute to the enhancement of corporate knowledge by developing diligence templates, integration playbooks, and other essential documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in post-merger integration, corporate development, consulting, or project management.
- Proficient in budget management and team organization in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
- Skilled in using MS Teams and SharePoint for project coordination.
- Adept at analyzing and synthesizing extensive information, identifying issues, and proactively recommending solutions.
- Experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Aerospace, Defense, and Government Services sectors.
- Familiarity with MS Project or Smartsheet for project management.
- Knowledge of the M&A life cycle and experience managing M&A budgets.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong work ethic, high energy, and a sense of urgency.
- Exceptional attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
