Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Ross Stores. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales floor operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
  • Sales Floor Operations: Assist customers with merchandise, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other sales associates and store leadership to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and store leadership.
  • Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service, with a focus on meeting customer needs and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Teamwork Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing sales floor conditions, including peak sales periods and unexpected events.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently around the sales floor.
  • Visual Requirements: Ability to see and hear effectively, with or without corrective lenses.
