Position: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: Contractual Position
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: Standard Business Hours
Role Summary:
  • Accountable for the precise and timely management of accounts payable functions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Guarantees prompt vendor payments.
  • Ensures accurate general ledger coding for all payables.
  • Processes invoices related to purchase orders by verifying pricing and quantities.
  • Addresses discrepancies through effective communication with vendors and manages inquiries regarding pending payments.
  • Reconciles vendor statements and investigates invoice and receipt issues.
  • Prepares and reviews payments including checks and wire transfers.
  • Conducts audits of accounts payable processes at various locations.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • High School Diploma required.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years in accounts payable processing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
Essential Skills:
  • Accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices and payment requisitions.
Communication Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capable of conveying information accurately and effectively.
Work Environment:
  • Regularly engages in desk work, utilizing a computer keyboard, and communicating via phone.
