Job Overview

As a Construction Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing offload, staging, placing, setting, and leveling of battery production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute machine integration into mass production, leveling, adjustment, and quality confirmation for assigned work areas.
  • Manage general contractors and subcontractors, scopes, budgets, and schedules related to installation of automotive lithium-ion battery manufacturing equipment.
  • Administer equipment installation construction contracts, conduct on-site inspections to monitor plan compliance, and direct activities of contractors and subcontractors to support project schedules.
  • Research, plan, and administer equipment installation projects, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, and building materials.
  • Present status reports to management, receive, review, and coordinate contract changes into project delivery.
  • Ensure a safe job site, monitor and promote compliance with Client safety rules and procedures, and correct and report issues/incidents in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of experience in industrial construction projects, with emphasis on heavy industrial equipment installation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy industrial equipment installation means and methods.
  • Proficient drawing review and field application abilities.
  • OSHA 30 and 510 certifications.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, and walk throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant for many hours of the day.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs to roof or equipment rooms throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical associate degree or higher or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Pre-Production setup.
  • Experience with Production Processes, including Standardized Work (STW) and Job Instruction Sheets (JIS).
  • Experience gathering and analyzing quality data from multiple sources.
  • New plant or facility startup experience.
  • Experience with high-volume production in a clean room environment.
