Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our team at FTI. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for planning and executing project controls requirements for medium to large-sized projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a project controls plan as part of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) for project execution.
  • Plan and organize the setup of project baseline in project controls system, and implement a plan to track against the baseline on a regular basis.
  • Develop cost, schedule, and commercial baseline.
  • Provide technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training, and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists.
  • Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management.
  • Supervise the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work to be performed as defined by the contract.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 10 years of electrical contracting experience or MEP coordination.
  • 15-25% travel required.
  • Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; however, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
