Job Responsibilities:


As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the project management team in the execution of various commercial construction projects.

Your strong organizational skills and understanding of construction processes will be vital in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

Assist in the coordination of all facets of commercial construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and procurement of materials.


Documentation Management:
Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and meeting minutes, ensuring accessibility for reference and audits.

Communication Liaison:

Act as a central point of contact for all project stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and providing timely updates on project status.



Budget and Cost Control:
Support the project manager in monitoring budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities to optimize resource allocation.

Schedule Management:
Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and collaborating with the team to address any potential delays.

Quality Assurance:
Participate in quality control inspections to ensure compliance with construction plans and industry standards, addressing any quality issues as they arise.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in assisting or coordinating commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and building codes.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
