Business Applications Manager

The IT organization is responsible for the life cycle planning of business applications for the Mill Division through the phases of strategize, architect, select, deploy, operate, evolve, and retire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the application group responsible for building or configuring, maintaining or enhancing, and eventually decommissioning applications through their life cycle.
- Formulate vision, objectives, and scope of projects/applications, and provide policy-level direction regarding standards and budgetary constraints.
- Analyze changes and enhancements to the Mill IT environment to determine production systems, design, development, and implementation standards and operating procedures impact.
- Evaluate the impact of all business processes.
- Help manage priorities and oversee the strategic and architectural direction of the overall IT ecosystem.
- Stay continuously informed to advance technologies and applications in keeping with best practices and customer satisfaction.
- Develop new business applications and ensure the reliability, release versions, access, and security of each Business System.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with project management, application deployment, and ERP upgrades.
- Extensive experience leading projects and implementations.
- ERP implementation experience.
- Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical groups and to executive management.
- Experience serving as the first point of escalation from the business side and strong relationship-building skills.
- Experience in managing multiple client portfolios and projects at a time.
- MS Project, Jira, 12 Teams experience.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- PLC experience.
- BA background.
- Manufacturing industry experience in warehousing, logistics, procurement, manufacturing, inventory systems, and production planning.
- Experience in implementing Cloud technologies.
- Experience with IT Security requirements and management.
