Job Summary

As an HR Business Partner for Supply Chain at Nordstrom, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing programs that drive business strategy. Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Supply Chain leaders to create inclusive environments where employees and teams can thrive
  • Identify people priorities for the organization and aggregate larger cross-group themes
  • Lead the prioritization of learning, talent, and compensation activities in support of business priorities and goals
  • Develop and execute a talent strategy that enables the achievement of business goals and ensures the identification and development of future leaders
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize the organization's structure, size, and workforce composition in support of business outcomes
  • Provide leadership coaching and support team effectiveness efforts with client groups through direct and actionable feedback
  • Manage and drive multiple HR programs across various divisions and groups in a fast-paced, complex, and matrixed business environment
  • Build capability within the business and support leaders through change
  • Support and lead network-wide project work
Requirements
  • 3+ years of directly applicable HR experience, partnering with business leaders to drive strategic and effective people outcomes
  • Experience supporting a Supply Chain business is a plus; experience in both HR business partner and specialist areas is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to apply quantitative analysis to HR outcomes and use data to influence and drive decisions
  • Strong business and people acumen, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Track record of successfully leading and delivering large, complex programs across multiple teams and organizations, with strong project management skills a plus
Location
  • The selected candidate must be located within a commutable distance of the Nordstrom fulfillment center in Elizabethtown, PA
