Your Role:

As a key member of our Catalyst Technologies team, you will play a vital role in the syngas value chain, developing and supplying advanced process technology and catalysts that empower our clients to operate sustainably and profitably.

This position entails establishing a permanent manufacturing team and processes for our cutting-edge catalyst technology. You will oversee the daily operations of production lines, focusing on the maintenance and enhancement of PLC, robotic, and HMI controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production lines and assist during equipment downtimes.
  • Complete assigned projects and proactively seek additional tasks during periods of inactivity.
  • Troubleshoot automation-related issues using PLC interface software.
  • Collaborate with Production and Maintenance teams to meet production and equipment effectiveness targets.
  • Implement optimization strategies for existing equipment and facilitate the introduction of new technologies.
  • Develop and execute automation strategies for manual operations, demonstrating the benefits of automation.
  • Work alongside the Ops Project Manager to prioritize projects and prepare necessary documentation for project approval.
  • Supervise the design, installation, start-up, testing, and debugging of automated systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate or Technical degree with a minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with at least two years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.

Essential skills include:

  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting related to automated production machinery.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with robotics, conveyor systems, servo systems, instrumentation, and sensors.
  • Familiarity with vision systems, barcode technology, and PLC programming.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
