Equipment Maintenance Technician Senior

As a Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician at Gulfstream, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical expertise in the maintenance and repair of aircraft-related production equipment. This role requires a high degree of technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions in production equipment
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Perform setup and calibration of production equipment as scheduled
• Regularly back up process parameters and PLC programs for all equipment
• Input required data into the CMMS system for machine reliability and control
• Implement project objectives on key pieces of automated equipment with minimal guidance
• Recommend or initiate modification or replacement of equipment components that fail to meet acceptable operating standards
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 5 years of experience working with electrical controls and mechanical applications in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with aircraft-related production equipment in the aerospace industry
• Knowledge of Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC and drives
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
• Working knowledge of replacing spindles, ball screws, linear guide ways, bearings, hydraulics repairs, and precision machine alignments
• Experience with computerized maintenance management software relevant to spare parts management, work order creation, and preventive maintenance
Working Conditions:
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying shifts and may require up to 25% travel. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
