Director of Public Affairs and Communications

FTI Consulting is a global business advisory firm that helps clients navigate their most significant opportunities and challenges. As a Director of Public Affairs and Communications, you will play a key role in promoting the day-to-day management of client accounts and aligning with both the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector and our Public Affairs team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic communications plans and proposals for clients and new business prospects.
  • Provide strategic counsel directly to clients in meetings, conference calls, and while working on client sites.
  • Oversee project management and document development to ensure deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Anticipate client needs and concerns and work proactively with colleagues to address them.
  • Drive new business pursuits, including the development of thought leadership and ongoing networking on behalf of the firm.
  • Support team training and professional development and serve as a performance manager to junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related business field.
  • 5+ years of relevant post-graduate professional experience.
  • Experience in the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector is essential.
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
