Position Overview:

We are in search of a design-focused professional with a strong background in hospitality and event management to fill the role of Design and Development Manager. In this capacity, you will be instrumental in orchestrating a diverse array of corporate events, collaborating with a dedicated team that shares your enthusiasm for crafting unforgettable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop engaging content for proposals and marketing materials.
  • Innovate and price proposals and services tailored to client programs.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and support for clients as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to proposal timelines and deadlines.
  • Provide on-site assistance for client support when required.
  • Facilitate client site inspections and maintain operational liaisons during program development.
  • Manage bookings and releases for venues, vendors, and activities.
  • Research and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure accurate assessments.
  • Proactively define program details to produce comprehensive service contracts.
  • Ensure all files are prepared prior to handover to operations.
  • Adhere to accounting guidelines regarding deposits and vendor payments.
  • Compile necessary attachments for contracts and invoices.
  • Maintain knowledge of local venues, restaurants, and activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong proficiency in client relations, proposal writing, and budget management.
  • Minimum of five years of work experience, including at least two years in hospitality.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with local destination offerings.
  • Experience with standard office technology.

Job Conditions:

The role requires various vision capabilities, including close and distance vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus. The work environment is typically quiet, and the physical demands include administrative tasks and occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
