Job Overview

The Workforce Solutions team is dedicated to delivering comprehensive HR consulting, recruitment, and HR technology services to various businesses. We collaborate with organizations to ensure their human resource strategies are effectively implemented, covering all aspects from compliance to talent acquisition. As part of the MBE CPAs family, we also extend our HR support to over 250 employees across multiple offices.

Daily Responsibilities:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will primarily concentrate on providing recruitment assistance to our clients. Our focus is on partnering with CPA firms to identify tax and audit professionals, as well as sourcing talent for their clients. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the creativity to source candidates effectively. This position may be based in our Baraboo office, but we are open to accommodating high-caliber candidates who prefer a hybrid or remote work arrangement, depending on their experience. This role offers significant opportunities for career advancement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing the complete recruitment cycle for WFS clients, from developing candidate profiles and job descriptions to ensuring new hires are engaged until their start date.
  • Managing job advertisements across various platforms, utilizing social media, job boards, and digital marketing to attract both active and passive candidates.
  • Proactively sourcing passive candidates and devising innovative strategies to attract talent.
  • Building and maintaining a talent pool for current and future job vacancies.
  • Utilizing WFS's applicant tracking system (ATS) to oversee job requisitions and candidate applications.
  • Generating and reporting on recruitment analytics consistently.
  • Reviewing and screening resumes and applications.
  • Conducting phone interviews and scheduling in-person interviews.
  • Occasionally participating in job fairs and related recruitment events.
  • Networking within communities, educational institutions, local organizations, and professional groups to enhance WFS's brand and leverage connections for talent acquisition.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for WFS, including promoting additional services to clients.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and support to WFS clients.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to employment laws and regulations in all tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in talent acquisition or sourcing roles.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Proficient in using HCM and ATS software, as well as Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills for engaging with candidates and clients via phone, email, and in person.
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with isolved ATS, Attract & Hire is a plus.
  • Background in sourcing or recruiting within the CPA and public accounting sectors is highly advantageous.

Work Schedule:

Typically, employees can adjust the standard Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM schedule to accommodate personal interests or family commitments, provided business needs are met.
