Overview: Under the supervision of the Security Manager, the Security Enforcement Officer, accredited by the Security Officer Management Branch, is responsible for maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons, guests, and staff on the premises. The Security Enforcement Officer executes protective and regulatory duties when addressing inappropriate behavior, disturbances, criminal activities, and threats to safety and property. In all circumstances, the Officers carry out their responsibilities in a respectful, professional, and composed manner, adhering to legal methods sanctioned by the relevant regulations and company policies. This is a full-time, year-round role classified as an "essential employee," which may necessitate extended hours or off-duty reporting to ensure adequate staffing levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides coverage during shift transitions, as well as during employee absences due to vacation or illness.
  • Conducts duties with respect, professionalism, and dignity, ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Performs required patrols as specified by Post Instructions and Supervisor Updates, ensuring thoroughness and dedication to company standards.
  • Maintains order on the premises, utilizing respect and positive customer service when interacting with guests, visitors, employees, and unknown individuals.
  • Ensures that trespassers and unwanted individuals are excluded from the property, employing legal methods as outlined in company policies. Takes appropriate action to address undesirable behavior and legal violations while avoiding erroneous accusations.
  • Prepared to respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies and incidents as they arise.
  • Submits detailed and well-structured reports documenting complaints, observations, actions taken, and investigative findings.
  • Informs the Supervisor or On-Duty Manager of any activities of significance or concern regarding the property or events occurring at the venue.
  • May provide transportation for full-time staff to and from the venue on event days.
  • Completes all assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications: Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma; an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
  • Two years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Attention to data integrity and accuracy.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet navigation.
  • Competent keyboard skills for producing accurate documents.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to building a career in the sports industry.

  • Familiarity with security policies and procedures in the sports industry is preferred.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
  • Position requires functioning in a high-activity, crowded outdoor sports venue. May involve working at heights and exposure to varying weather conditions. Duties include standing for extended periods, walking long distances, and climbing stairs. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

Compensation: The projected wage rate for this position is $21.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on various factors, including qualifications, skills, expertise, education, training, certifications, and organizational requirements. Starting salaries for new hires are typically not at the top of the salary range.
