Customer Service Specialist Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Orkin. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities:

  • Field incoming requests and schedule service visits to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Coordinate with technicians to optimize routes and minimize drive time.
  • Use your excellent communication skills to identify customer concerns and evaluate their needs.
  • Monitor and update customer databases with accurate information.
  • Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
