Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Public Consulting Group. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading the overall direction, coordination, and execution of specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop full-scale project plans.
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff, manage project resource allocation, and plan and schedule project timelines.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and provide direction and support to project team members.
  • Responsible for quality assurance, constantly monitoring and reporting on project progress to all stakeholders, and presenting reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs, and responsible for project evaluations and assessment of results.
Requirements
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with strong writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Planning and organizing skills, with the ability to make decisions and influence others.
  • Delegation skills, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of direct work experience in project management capacity, with proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
Working Conditions

This is a remote work position, and you must be available during your set working hours, have a safe, private, and distraction-free environment, and be able to give your full attention to the completion of your PCG job duties.

Some travel to the office or elsewhere may be required for team meetings, client meetings, etc.

Compensation

Compensation for this role varies depending on factors such as office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave, and more.
