PRIMARY JOB OBJECTIVE

Support the Store Manager in overseeing the daily functions of the store, which includes sales, customer engagement, operational tasks, administrative duties, communication, marketing, and visual merchandising.

Capability to take on the Store Manager's responsibilities during their absence.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES ACHIEVEMENT

  • Achieve personal and store sales targets.
  • Assist in monitoring, tracking, and reporting business performance.
  • Ensure all team members deliver exceptional sales and service; lead by example.
  • Continuously enhance personal sales techniques and aid in the development of team members' sales skills to optimize sales.
  • Guarantee adherence to all sales-related policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of merchandise and foster product understanding among sales staff.
  • Maintain a strong interest in fashion trends and industry developments.

CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT

  • Ensure all team members provide outstanding customer service.
  • Build and sustain repeat clientele by utilizing personal client relationships and assisting staff in managing their client interactions.
  • Quickly and effectively resolve all customer issues and complaints.
  • Support sales associates with various customer service challenges (e.g., dissatisfied customers, returns, defective products).

OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

  • Collaborate with the store manager on risk management, security, cash handling, and inventory oversight.
  • Assist in training staff on appropriate register usage and maintenance.
  • Understand and accurately execute all management register functions.
  • Participate in inventory counts.
  • Understand and implement cash control protocols, including bank deposits and petty cash management.

VISUAL MERCHANDISING

  • Assist in the execution and upkeep of all visual merchandising directives.
  • Ensure the sales floor is tidy, organized, and consistently reflects the brand's visual standards.
  • Process deliveries promptly and accurately.
  • Identify and communicate product concerns swiftly.
  • Convey inventory requirements to support business objectives.

HUMAN RESOURCES

  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of team members.
  • Help ensure the accuracy of payroll and related processes.
  • Regularly assess each associate's performance and provide ongoing feedback to drive results.
  • Address all human resources matters promptly and effectively, collaborating with HR as needed.
  • Support and follow up on all training initiatives and programs.
  • Ensure professional grooming and image standards are maintained, reflecting the brand's identity.
