The Business Analyst will collaborate with various teams to define, document, design, implement, and support SAP ECC and related software solutions that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key member of the OTC (Order to Cash) team, responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of IS Applications that support Order to Cash and associated business functions.
  • Establish strong relationships with business users and leadership to define processes, set priorities, and execute IS projects effectively.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach to driving initiatives to completion, ensuring regular communication and follow-ups with stakeholders.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Medline's business processes, mapping out workflows and identifying opportunities for improvement through process or system enhancements.
  • Work closely with the business community to gather, define, and document requirements and business objectives, delivering IS solutions within set deadlines.
  • Ensure optimal system availability and demonstrate urgency in addressing organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to evaluate and propose design alternatives, delivering effective solutions while minimizing disruptions to system performance.
  • Present concepts, designs, and expertise to business user groups and management.
  • Lead project delivery and drive initiatives to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate system issues and their impacts to business stakeholders in clear, non-technical language.
  • Document detailed requirements, solution designs, and test plans following Medline's SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Conduct functional testing and assist in the QA review process for change approvals.
  • Support the team manager in assessing the scope and impact of enhancement requests, estimating efforts, and developing detailed project plans.
  • Plan and conduct knowledge transfer activities for newly implemented functionalities to team members and business users.
  • Participate in monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing our OTC System Landscape, including SAP ECC, Vistex, Tableau, SQL, and other tools.
  • Provide off-hours support as necessary, including participation in the on-call rotation.
  • Keep management and team members informed of status changes as needed.
  • Exercise good judgment in determining when communication is necessary.
  • Consider the needs of team members to ensure coverage of responsibilities during absences.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Sales, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with SAP SD configuration and processes, including integration with other systems and modules.
  • Highly motivated and dependable with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proven ability to analyze, research, assess, and implement SAP solutions.
  • Strong functional knowledge of order processing, delivery processing, logistics execution, and related areas.
  • Familiarity with web-based ordering systems, SAP APIs, web services, and IDOC integrations is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business processes into technical requirements.
  • Ability to identify the impact of processes across multiple functional areas or SAP modules.
  • Experience with SQL querying, HANA Studio, and Tableau is advantageous.
  • Experience in suggesting improvements to business and IS processes is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and able to learn proprietary Medline tools.
  • Ability to interact successfully with off-site team members and work in a matrix environment is essential.
